I was surprised when I got an email saying that veterans of the UK dance music underground iLL BLU had signed to Island Records. The duo are awesome and have been producing anthems for years, but still, getting this kind of recognition from a major must be a pleasant boost for the duo, and will hopefully see their stock rise.

Apparently they have a load of material with various vocalists lined up, and if they go the way of “Blu Magic,” which features Max Marshall, they should be seeing some mainstream radio play soon. Check out “Blu Magic” and “Tick, Tock” from 2012’s Illusions EP below.
