Shed a tear if you weren’t at The FADER Fort at SXSW last night, as by the sounds of it, Snoop Dogg and Deltron 3030 joining Damon Albarn on stage probably won’t happen again. Performing Gorillaz’s 2001 classic number “Clint Eastwood” in its “purest form” for the first time ever, Albarn introduced Del the Funky Homosapien and Dan the Automator, the original collaborators of the song.
And then, of course, just when you didn’t think that this could be any more special, Snoop saunters on stage halfway through the performance. Watch the incredible—perhaps even historical—performance above.
