Originally released by the Los Angeles indie pop trio Sir Sly, “GOLD” has now been given a makeover courtesy of Vic Mensa and his SAVEMONEY counterparts, rapper Kami de Chukwu and producer Peter Cottontale. The remix features some powerful verses from both Vic and Kami, as they go in over a poignant blend of strings, pianos, and synths.
It isn’t the first time that Cottontale and Mensa have worked together either. Cottontale was the executive producer for Mensa’s latest mixtape, INNANETAPE. On “Gold,” the results are just as promising. Listen to the track below.
