Video: Foster The People - "Coming of Age"

Watch the video for Foster the People's "Coming of Age".

Though Foster The People had already released a time-lapse video for their most recent single, “Coming of Age”, the L.A. indie poppers have shown today that they aren’t done yet, as they released a second music video for the song. The video is a trip down memory lane, opening with the same sort of wide, expansive horizons that we once saw in movies like Rain Man or Something Wild, but the visual nostalgia makes sense, given that the song itself has that airy, anthemic vibe that defined the era’s pop music. Their plan of attack is not unlike the kind used by Brandon Flowers and The Killers. Cheesy? Sure. But getting some glam-pop into your system isn’t always such a bad thing.

“Coming of Age” is a part of the band’s upcoming album, Supermodel, which will be out March 14 via Columbia.
