Fresh off commandeering two Grammys, one for “Song of the Year,” Lorde has taken a moment to remind us she’s still Ella from the block. The newly-minted pop star landed in Auckland this morning with a full page letter in the New Zealand Herald.

“HOLY CRAP” is a great start to any letter, but it adds an especially nice zing in a thank-you note. She starts off with a subtle thank, including producer Joel Little as a co-victor—”Joel & I won.” Lorde then shoots off a blanket thank, with underlines for emphasis: “thank you for the time you’ve given me these past 14 months.”

And she closes with the handshake thank. Lorde will be playing a show tonight in Auckland, and there are 500 discounted tickets for fans under 18. The letter ends with with a notification: “we’ll make it magic.” Read it in full below, then check out Lorde’s performance at the Grammys:
