Tom McClung, the former bassist in WU LYF, really impressed with the vibrant guitar pop of his debut single as Francis Lung, “A Selfish Man.” The song is out on January 16 via Atelier Ciseaux, and comes backed by “Tsunami Blues (Cause of Me),” which you can listen to below. It’s a dreamy, delicate song that eventually unfurls into a gorgeous, almost hymnal final minute. From McClung:
It’s about a guy who survives a natural disaster and then wonders about his own impact on that disaster… He feels bad because he’s the only one left.
