Autre Ne Veut’s album Anxiety was one of 2013’s very best, and “Counting” was one of an extremely strong record’s standout tracks. Arthur Ashin performed the track for YoursTruly at the Driskill hotel in Austin, Texas, accompanied by only a piano and a female vocalist (shout out her Aphex Twin t-shirt), and the stripped back version imbues the already passionate song with even more raw emotion.
