A few weeks after our pleasantly surprising introduction to New Zealand synth-poppers BROODS, the duo releases a kaleidoscopic video for debut single “Bridges.” The song (produced by Lorde collaborator Joel Little) gets a treatment fittingly abstract and loose, weaving images of the group with trees, clouds, beaches, and smoke, furthering the aesthetic that scant few photos helped to establish. Even though information on the group remains scarce, it’s difficult to imagine the content-engine not revving up a bit over the coming months as their story continues to build.
