Albert Hammond Jr, who is best known as The Strokes‘ guitarist, released an excellent, varied solo EP last month, which included a couple of slower, more sedate tracks alongside three spiky, raucous rockers that make up the heart of the EP. “Carnal Cruise” has a raw, paranoid edge, and this is reflected in the video, which was directed by Laurent Briet, and sees a well-dressed Hammond Jr trying to find his way through a forest filled with colored smoke.
