Video: Adian Coker - "Suicide Drive"

With his introduction to P&P, “Cream,” London’s Adian Coker presented himself as particularly concerned with aesthetics, delivering a stylish, flare-packed visual that drew seeming influence from the videos of Kanye West and Jay Z‘s “On to the Next One.”

Continuing the trend, the video for “Suicide Drive” is like the unholy marriage of Kanye’s “Mercy” and a coven of witches that broke loose from a Renaissance fair  (or, worse, actually live in whatever woods Coker chooses to frequent late at night). Full of menacing, masked characters, fire, and a bevy of teleporting Coker’s, “Suicide Drive” probably looks more expensive than it actually was, stretching a camera trick and a few well-used effects into something striking.
