As a follow up to their stellar debut Stay EP, eclectic electro-soul trio Tiny Hearts give their single of the same name the video treatment. Its a surrealistic portrait of domestic life, depicting two children happening upon a living room full of floating men who spring to life and start dancing. Strange and often beautiful, “Stay” isn’t the sort of video you’d necessarily envision when listening to the song that inspired it, but it’s a treatment that creates an intriguing, abstract new accompaniment, a set of images that don’t reveal clear purpose immediately. Offering the potential for interpretation on repeat plays, “Stay” is a fitting companion to layered and rewarding music.
