If you’ve been playing Grand Theft Auto V, or have caught one of the (many) commercials on TV, you might well have heard The Chain Gang of 1974’s “Sleepwalking,” which soundtracked the blockbuster game’s main commercial. The original is a hazy, dreamy song, which cleverly contrasts Kamtin Mohager’s downcast lyrics (“You left me miserable”) with a euphoric synth-based chorus, while the remix adds yet more electronic elements and makes great use of the original’s soaring vocals.
