Alexander Spit - "Eleanor 60"

None

To follow up his recent instrumental mixtape Mansions 2, San Francisco-bred, Los Angeles-based rapper/producer Alexander Spit teases his upcoming project Dillinger with hazy, low-key new song “Eleanor 60.”

Over clacking percussion and watery synths, Spit crafts a stream of conscousness ode to his west coast home, mind-alteration, and a future viewed brightly, even through hazy vision. “Eleanor 60” fits comfortably within the psychedelic soundscapes Spit has developed over his last few projects, a skilled take on soulful post-Dilla thump. The accompanying video is a travelogue of sorts, collecting photos of friends, places, and parties, presumably captured by Spit and those around him. It’s a fitting companion piece to a foggily rosy reflection on past, present, and potential.
