Moby’s atmospheric “A Case For Shame,” which features the vocals of self-described “doom soul” singer Al Spx (of Cold Specks), has been remixed by Thom, the drummer from Alt-J. The track opens with the sound of thunder and falling rain, and moves slowly, moodily along, before a crisp beat breaks through the haze like a shaft of post-storm sunlight and powers the song to its pulsating conclusion.

“A Case For Shame” comes from Moby’s new album Innocents, which is out September 30. Listen to the remix, which premiered today on The Line of Best Fit, below.
