On the day that would have been Jamal Dewar a.k.a. Capital STEEZ’s 20th birthday, his friend and Pro Era torch-bearer Joey Bada$$ tweeted out a link to the unreleased STEEZ track below. Steez passed away just over 6 months ago, leaving behind a legacy as one of the pioneers of Beast Coast and the Flatbush Junction that has continued an ascent through the ranks of hip-hop collectives.
“King Steelo” will be included on Pro Era’s upcoming tribute album King Capital.
