Video: Petite Noir - "Noirse"

What first impressed about South African artist Petite Noir was his rich baritone, which we were introduced to near the end of last year on the dark, atmospheric “Till We Ghosts.” What’s most impressive this time is the tropical production that bounds along on a delightful marimba melody and, alongside Yannick Ilunga’s heartfelt vocals, builds and builds to an exhilarating crescendo. The night time video, directed and produced by Tim Main in London, reminisces about a past romance, with the two characters showing off a very real but subtle chemistry. Watch it above.

“Noirse” is out now, accompanied by remixes from Deptford Goth, Pional, and NGUZUNGUZU, buy here.
