Jacques Greene Ft. How To Dress Well - "On Your Side"

None

When we last heard from Canadian producer Jacques Greene he was collaborating with vocalist Tinashe on “Painted Faces” as part of Yours Truly’s “Songs From Scratch” project, and now he’s back with another brilliant vocalist in tow. This time it’s Tom Krell (of How To Dress Well), who delivers vocals perfectly suited to Greene’s mellow mixture of house and R&B, a mixture so potent, and so beautiful, that it inspired Soundcloud user Lysick to comment the following:

thug tearz runnin down my face like the personification of a waterfall running track for the olympics and defeating usain bolt even though in theory lightning is supposed to defeat the water element word to pokemon however the water can assume any form like a shapeshifter or chameleon, thus shoutout to bruce lee, if u pour water into the bottle, it becomes the bottle, if u pour water into the human it decomposes the h2o and becomes one with the human being, quenches its thirst and balances its electrolytes, thus the water is actually a conductor word to physical science 436 back in the day, but in conclusion, this shit is aqua, flows so well, and brings tears into my eyes because it’s so beautiful :’)

And you can’t say fairer than that.

“On Your Side” is the title track of Jacques Greene’s new EP, out June 3, but you can download it now if you pre-order the EP.
