With the star status of Frank Ocean, Tyler and Earl, it can be easy to forget how deep the Odd Future talent pool is, but from the recently released mixtape by OF affiliates The Jet Age of Tomorrow to Hodgy Beats newest track, the crew has impressive depth. “Years” is a dark journey into Hodgy’s mind, and while the verses are typically solid, the production is the star here, with spaced-out synth stabs and rumbling bass combining with heady, trippy results.
“Years” will appear on Hodgy’s new EP Untitled 2, which is out June 1.
