Another slice of immediate and catchy pop music from rising London-based singer Sivu, who was filmed singing in an MRI scanner for the video for his excellent debut single “Better Man Than He,” and returns with sweeping string based production and a quavering, somewhat Wild Beasts-esque falsetto for “Bodies.” Any comparison to the wonderful Wild Beasts, consistently one of the most exciting bands in indie-rock, is high praise indeed, but while the vocals bear a certain resemblance, Sivu is taking things in a poppier direction, and doing it well.
