Little Daylight - "Name in Lights (Pacific Air Remix)"

None

In 2013, there are few tools as effective for making an impact as a solid remix. Enlisting the right artists to rework a song not only helps spread the word through association, but it drives a song further into listeners’ brains. Songs that once seemed unfamiliar become recognizable for all their little parts—that vocal flourish here, the little synth stab there, or a tiny guitar riff that jumps out no matter the soundscape surrounding it.

Little Daylight knows the value of a good remix, and they should—they started off making them. Before ever releasing an orignal track (their first was the excellent “Overdose“), the Brooklyn group spent their time tweaking other artists’ songs.

Their latest single is “Name In Lights” (also excellent), and for the first remix, they enlisted Pacific Air for this dewy revamp. Listen/download below.
