Fryars forthcoming sophomore album really is shaping up to be rather brilliant. The three tracks we’ve heard so far (“Love So Cold” and “In My Arms” being the others) have seen Garrett experimenting, using his vocals and nuanced electronic production in a variety of haunting, emotion-filled ways. “On Your Own,” the most grandiose of the three songs, now has an artily shot video, that alternates between images of Garrett himself looking pretty moody, and various crying, presumably broken-hearted girls.
