Holy aliteration, Batman.
On his latest solo single, SAVEMONEY crew rapper Joey Purple keeps it short and to the point, hopping on a Thelonious Martin beat and rapping his ass off for the better part of a minute and nineteen seconds. “Ido(nt) Care” is a loose exercise in lyric writing and delivery, owing in sound and style to the DOOM-Dilla-Madlib axis that occasionally colors SAVEMONEY’s aesthetic (see also Kami de Chukwu‘s “Mimosa Hostilis” for an even more direct nod).
