Young Birmingham band Peace released a four-track EP entitled Delicious in September, featuring the angular but summery “Bloodshake,” which today has a super-trippy, super-bright video for your perusal. There are band members kissing fish, voyages through space, and all manner of tomnfoolery, but don’t let that totally distract you from how good this band are. “Bloodshake” has hints of Foals’ math-rock tendencies, and a powerful chorus, whilst “Summer Daze” (also from the EP) has Beach Boys referencing harmonies complementing the reverb-laden guitars. All in all the Delicious EP (buy here) is an impressive introduction to Peace, and mark them as one to watch for the indie-rock music lovers amongst you.
