At P&P HQ last week, we were discussing how well El-P‘s done since the Def Jux bid farewell. Feels like he’s been more focused in all areas of his craft, and clips like this one show it. For such a bananas track, El-P crafted a video that blends comedy and commentary in just over three minutes (and plays as the prequel to “The Full Retard”). Feels like the microwave mainstream musical acts (and the nation fed by today’s MTV) are the prime targets in his scope. Shouts out to Mr. Killums.
