For the first single from the Typical Cats’ third full length album–which arrives a whopping eight years after their last release, Civil Service–the Chicago crew serves up “The Crown,” threading razor sharp flows over a suitably energized set of funky drumbreaks. It’s good to hear the Cats back in action, and hopefully their new LP 3 (which you can support via Kickstarter, if you’re so inclined) packs more of the same. Check out “The Crown” below.
