Jessie Ware - "Wildest Moments"

1.

With her album Devotion arriving in a little under three months, Jessie Ware releases her third single “Wildest Moments,” a dip into a different end of the soul pool from the cozy London-bass depths she usually inhabits. “Moments” is pure stadium balladry, a tasteful stones throw from songs like Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love” (though certainly not as insipid). As bombastic as the production gets, it remains restrained enough to make room for Ware’s crystal clear voice, an organic fit that shows her range and development since a song like SBTRKT’s “The Right Thing To Do” or the striking “Valentine” with occasional collaborator Sampha.
