Ears (and eyes), meet Wild Belle, a two piece from Chicago who’s debut release ” Keep You” is really rather fantastic. Mixing elements of ska and reggae with dreamy synth-pop, this song has its roots in the past while retaining a highly individual sound. The subject of the song is also nothing new – Natalie Bergman wonders why the man she loves doesn’t treat her better (and looking at the picture above, why the bloody hell doesn’t he?) – but there is an entrancing, bewitching quality to this music that will keep you coming back.
