Niki & The Dove are a Swedish duo who seem to have that very Scandanavian ability to make music that is slightly weird, sometimes dark, often grandiose, and undeniably pop. “DJ Ease My Mind” is a standout track, one that gained them early attention almost a year ago, but which has been re-released since they signed to Sub Pop, and now has a video to accompany it. If you already know the track, the video is well worth checking out as a trippy accompaniment , and if you don’t, press play for a slow-building and eventually epic masterclass in widescreen pop music.
