Despite having no clue who RAC is, it’s safe to say they (he? she?) rock. Their production is consistently amazing, and to anyone who suggests remixing isn’t an art form in its own right, RAC’s is the first catalogue I would point them to.
Their newest track, transforming indie upstarts Foster The People‘s funnest track, “Houdini,” into a dancefloor banger, shouldn’t have been a hard one – the original is poppy as hell. However, they wreck this one, trading in pianos for synths and creating something that will fit right in at a party or a DJ set (although at 115bpm, if you’re DJing you’ll need to find some moombahton to mix into).
