I didn’t like Lady GaGa‘s newest single. However, I’ve been really feeling Twin Shadow since his debut album Forget (buy it) came out last year, and when he remixed “Born This Way” I had to take a listen. What I heard really surprised me, Twin Shadow really Twin Shadowed this track, turning it into a funky alt-rock anthem that somehow fits better than the electronic backdrop Lady GaGa had on the original. What also surprised me is that word on the street is that this is an official remix, increasing my respect for Lady GaGa, because apparently we’re both Twin Shadow fans.
