Sam Adams has been on my radar for a while, but the only time I’ve really listened to him is when he’s in a YouTube video freestyling with his friends or something. I never really thought of him as a rapper who is going to have any success outside of the internet or a Boston college party, but after Asher’s transition from MySpace to MTV, you never know. I’m still not convinced that he has the ability to create any hits without using songs that are already hits, but he’s made some interesting choices and flipped this Yeah Yeah Yeah’s/A-Trak sample well.
