Old Money get on Chromeo’s joint for their upcoming project Scareapeutic, dropping in a week. Don’t really know how to describe this other than funky/glitchy/tight. Thanks to smokeYYY for the heads up.
Musically, Chromeo is pretty good, but I still see them as a gag group. Like a more hip, less LOL version of Weird Al or a more subtle version of Flight of the Conchords. I don’t know. I love the Flight of the Conchords as a show, but I’d never buy the album and bump it on a regular basis. I never liked to mix humor and music too much outside of TV/Youtube. Probably sounds snobby, but it’s just my opinion.
