Selena Gomez is clearing up speculation about her relationship status.
In a since-deleted Instagram Stories post on Thursday, the Only Murders in the Building star shared a black-and-white image that said, “I like being alone too much.” She also used the “#iamsingle” hashtag at the bottom of the post.
This came after Gomez and Chainsmokers member Andrew “Drew” Taggart were spotted bowling together earlier this week at the Gutter in New York City. A source told People that the actress/singer and Taggart were hanging out in a group setting.
Gomez has spoken candidly about being open to dating again. In May 2022, she shared her relationship status during her opening monologue on Saturday Night Live. “One reason I’ve been very happy to host is because I’m single,” Gomez began. “And I’ve heard SNL is a great place to find romance.”
She echoed a similar sentiment while speaking on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast. “Of course, there are days that I feel so far away,” the Disney alum said when asked if she’s open to love again. “But I would rather continue to get my heart broken than to not feel at all.”
In the past, the 30-year-old actress has been romantically linked to Zedd, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber. The latter was Gomez’s longest relationship. The two were on and off for almost eight years before officially calling it quits in 2018.
As for Taggart, he’s been linked to Steve Jobs’ daughter Eve, DJ Chantel Jeffries, and model Meredith Mickelson. The Chainsmoker has remained tight-lipped about his relationship status since being spotted with Gomez.
