After teasing the track on Twitter, the TDE signee dropped off his single “Soccer Dad” on Tuesday night. The California rapper and proud father has demonstrated for his Instagram followers that he really is about that soccer dad life, posting videos to his Instagram Stories cheering his daughter on from the sidelines and flexing about her accomplishments.

The new single comes after Q previewed a few unreleased tracks during a Twitch live stream last August, one produced by the Alchemist and another featuring Rico Nasty. Schoolboy closed out his livestream by criticizing people who talk too much, and called Top Dawg Entertainment “better than everybody.” He also said his next projects moving forward will be constantly “raising the bar” for his fans.

“You will never meet another fucking artist like me, let me tell you that,” he said. “I don’t sound like nobody, I don’t move like nobody...I’m gonna constantly show that I’m better...I’m not out on the scene. I’m minding my business, and I come home to my kids.”

Schoolboy Q’s last project was 2019’s CrasH Talk, which featured appearances from Travis Scott, 6lack, Ty Dolla Sign, YG, 21 Savage, Kid Cudi and Lil Baby.
