Megan Thee Stallion and AmazeVR, a virtual reality concert platform company, have announced their partnership on a 10-stop tour titled Enter Thee Hottieverse.

“Virtual reality has always been an interest of mine and I’m glad that we’ll be able to make history with this experience,” Megan said of the unique experience, which is billed as the first-ever VR concert tour. “My hotties will get to watch me perform in a completely different and unique way and I appreciate the AmazeVR team for helping me to bring this VR vision to life. I can’t wait to see the Hotties show up to the tour.”

In short, buying tickets to the Hottieverse will give fans the chance to hit up their local theater, at which point they will be outfitted with “Hottie Mounted Displays” (i.e. VR-enabled headsets). Fans can expect a multi-song performance from Megan, with the AmazeVR team promising both a safety-focused and seamless blend of reality and imagination.

Looking ahead at the future possibilities for experiences of this nature, co-CEO Ernest Lee said AmazeVR’s virtual reality-focused concert creations give attendees access to a show in which “all the barriers to entry” are removed.

“Not everyone owns a headset, and not everyone can make it to their favorite artist’s live show,” Lee noted in a press release on Monday.

Starting Aug. 5 and wrapping Sept. 3, a second leg of the tour will hit L.A., Austin, Dallas, Detroit, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. for two nights apiece:

When the new dates were shared, AmazeVR revealed that Enter Thee Hottieverse’s first 10 cities yielded 138 showings in AMC Theaters from April 5 to July 3, with 94 percent selling out.

“With the excitement shown by Megan’s Hotties for the Enter Thee Hottieverse Tour, we knew more tour dates were needed to share this VR experience with more fans,” stated co-CEO Ernest Lee in the mid-July update. “Teaming up with an artist so ground-shattering and admired as Megan Thee Stallion helped push the boundaries of musical experiences and lead us into a new genre of entertainment led by AmazeVR.”
