Montreal artists Freakey and Fouki blend into their lavish lifestyle in the video for their latest single “Caméléon.”

On the track’s chorus, Fouki brags about being visible everywhere, from inside the house all the way to giant billboards across the city. The video begins with Fouki and Freakey chilling in a mansion by themselves but turns into a massive party later, featuring a cameo from fellow Montreal rapper Rowjay.

“Tu peux me catch outside, tu peux me catch inside, je suis sur tous les signs,” Fouki raps at the start, tiptoeing between English and French.

Montreal-native Fouki has been active since 2017, releasing four albums since then. His latest Grignotines de Luxe came out in 2020, followed by a period of calm in 2021, where he mostly just featured on other artists’ tracks.

Producer Freakey has been prevalent behind the boards for many years and for many different artists. While he came up producing mainly for local acts, his production has caught the eyes of rappers like Killy, Sahbabii, and Lil Yachty. His biggest success came on Don Toliver’s most recent album Heaven or Hell, on which Freakey produced “Can’t Feel My Legs.” With the album’s major success, Freakey received his first RIAA-certified Gold plaque.
