Fan Who Went Viral for Lil Uzi Vert Tuition Offer Graduates From College: ‘I Don’t Bullsh*t’

Raheel Ahmad had a chance encounter with Lil Uzi Vert at a mall back in 2019 that ultimately resulted in a discussion about the fan's $90,000 tuition.

A Lil Uzi Vert fan who previously made headlines for inviting the Eternal Atake artist to his college graduation ceremony has now graduated, although it appears he’s still trying to make contact with Uzi regarding a previous tuition offer.

Instagram user Raheel Ahmad (a.k.a. @bigassheel) shared a clip this week in celebration of his graduation after four years of study at Temple University.

“Yo Uzi, you said I have to graduate before you actually pay for my college. I’m here to say, I don’t bullshit and I actually did it,” he said in the clip, as seen below. “Brown people don’t drop out.”

In the caption, Raheel tagged Uzi, asking the recent Mura Masa collaborator, “Can you now come thru!?”

Complex has reached out to a rep for Uzi for comment and will update this post accordingly.

As fans will recall, word surfaced last December that Raheel—who famously encountered Uzi at a mall back in 2019—had invited the artist to his then-upcoming graduation. The impactful 2019 moment in question, meanwhile, did indeed result in footage of Uzi telling the student he could pay his tuition, albeit only under proof-focused conditions.

“90 grand? I could pay for that,” Uzi said at the time. “But this is the thing, though. If I pay for your college tuition, are you gonna finish college or are you gonna bullshit?”

As Raheel detailed this week, as well as in previous Uzi appreciation posts, the artist’s remarks proved to be a source of inspiration for him throughout his studies.
