The full version of "Crash," the long-teased Trippie Redd and Smokepurpp collaboration, has been released.

The track has been teased by Redd on social media since at least Aug. 2017, meaning the verses included here could easily be at least a year old. The 808-H-assisted cut is available below via SoundCloud.

"Crash" arrives the day after Redd was arrested and charged for allegedly striking a woman with a pistol. Initially, the only additional information available on the arrest was that 18-year-old Michael White did appear in the Fulton County Jail database under two charges: aggravated assault and battery; substantial physical harm.

In a subsequent statement to Billboard, Atlanta police clarified that White had been taken into custody in Northwest Atlanta and charged with battery and aggravated assault. "As she began to leave, Mr. White struck her on her head with a handgun and pointed the weapon at her," police said when detailing the alleged incident. "Mr. White advised he did not strike her and wasn't sure how she was injured. Officers observed a bump on the victim’s head where she advised she was struck."

Last month, Smokepurpp made headlines for laying claim to an entire generation of artists in the so-called "SoundCloud" genre. In a Mother's Day-celebrating Instagram post, Purpp proposed his theory: "Happy Mother's Day to me man, Big Purpp," he said. "You know what's going on. I birthed this generation. I created the Soundcloud big bang. You already know what's going on. So, happy Mother's Day to Lil Purpp."
