London-based singer/songwriter Latir, a self-professed "old soul", fuses together his formative influences into a neat package of soulful, alternative R&B—and he does so brilliantly on new track "a never ending song".
Produced by Scoop and DA, Latir says the song is about "sticking to your personal journey in life without compromise and the distractions outside noise can bring." Laying syrupy-sweet vocals over dreamy strings and rattling drum work, "a never ending song" is an ambitious marriage of clashing styles.
