Cardi B Says Community Service Is ‘Best Thing That Has Happened To Me'

Cardi B says community service has opened her to new to a “journey” in life.

The “WAP” rapper took to Twitter on Saturday to share her experience with her 28.2M followers.

“Community service has been the best thing that has happened to me. Almost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears. Those people that we leave behind, they just need somebody to talk, and a lil push and YOU might be able to change their life forever,” the 30-year-old tweeted.

Last September, the star took a plea deal in her 2018 strip club fight case. She pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors of 3rd-degree assault and 2nd-degree reckless endangerment to avoid jail time. The judge ordered her to perform a mandatory 15 days of community service. Her other 12 indictments, placed by Queens were dropped.

In earlier reports, Cardi was identified as person who ordered her entourage to attack two bartenders, Jade and Baddie G. Allegedly, the brawl stemmed from accusations that Jade slept with her husband, OffsetThe pair tied the knot in 2017.

The Grammy winner turned herself in to police three months after the incident. She initially rejected the plea deal in 2019.

As for her community service, Cardi has served in church, school, and prestigious organizations in NYC. TMZ reports that she recently partnered with the NYPD for a “Girl Talk” seminar fulfilling her arrangement.

Cardi recently tweeted an image of herself before heading to service, saying, “my brains are burning from waking up early, community service then studio….but I did the crime. I only have myself to blame.”
