Ice Spice has shed some light on her friendship with Taylor Swift, and according to the rap star, her new friend is one of the funniest people on the planet.

During her new interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, the "Munch" rapper revealed how the two got to collaborate on "Karma," which she explained happened randomly. According to Ice Spice, her manager told her that someone named "Taylor" wanted to work with her, and she had no idea who it was.

"So I'm like, 'Okay.' And I was having a really bad day also, I would like to say that. I was having a terrible day. I was crying all morning because I was just so mad at something," Ice Spice said. "And then he called me with that news. And then I cried more because it was good news. My life is a roller coaster. How I started the day crying, and I'm ending it crying, but for different reasons."

Spice, 23, added that the phone call turned out to be an excellent one as she ended up going to the studio and saw Taylor Swift, 33, waiting outside for her. Once they introduced themselves to one another, they became really good friends.

"It was amazing. We went to the studio and she's so humble and so nice," Ice Spice continued. "I kid you not. I pulled up to the studio and she outside waiting for me. I'm like, 'Why is Taylor Swift outside?' Like, 'Taylor, what are you doing here?' So she's great. She's so funny. We text all the time. She is fucking hilarious. I'm not going to lie. She's the funniest person ever."

Ice Spice also reflected on the moment Taylor Swift brought her on stage at the East Rutherford, New Jersey stop of her Eras Tour. The rapper was a special surprise guest and the moment was something she couldn't fully explain given how crazy it was seeing all those people roar in unison for Swift.

"It's crazy because you hear all this, the roar that you hear in a Taylor Swift show is unmatched," she said. "I don't think I've ever heard that. And there's so many... So I tried to watch the show. Sorry, I'm jumping everywhere. I'm just so excited about this experience. But I tried to watch the show and I was like, 'No one's going to notice me. They're paying attention to whatever.'"

She continued, "So I'm standing there trying to be low-key. And then this one little seven-year-old girl screams my name. And she was like, Ice Spice! She was like, 'Boy's a Liar,' 'In Ha Mood'. And I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, she's so fucking cute.' And then a bunch of other little girls just appeared and they just was trying to take pictures."

Taylor Swift mentioned how big of a fan she was of Ice Spice before bringing her out at MetLife Stadium. According to Taylor, she listened mostly to Ice's music while preparing for her massive tour.

"What she didn't know at the time is that when I was training for the tour, I was listening to pretty much exclusively just her music every single day," Swift told the crowd. "I just not only fell in love with her, but just decided she's the entire future. … I've been around so many artists and so many artists just starting out, but I've never been around an artist who's so prepared and curious and focused on what she wants."
