Date: August 31

Kanye West was one of the headliners at this year's Budweiser's Made in America festival, and last weekend, his high-energy show in Philly had everyone excited for both the ninth anniversary of Late Registration and a ton of cuts off Yeezus.

There was a bit of a bumpy start to “Black Skinhead” but he went on to perform “I Don't Like (Remix),” “Cold,” “Can't Tell Me Nothing” and “New Slaves,” and won the crowd back. “Good Life,” “Heartless,” “All of the Lights” (which 'Ye sarcastically called his biggest “underground” hit), and “All Falls Down” are just some of the songs that followed. —Lauren Nostro

Your Old Droog proved—once and for all—that he's not Nas at his debut NYC show.

Date: September 5

Your Old Droog took the stage at New York City's Webster Hall this week and made his debut performance in front of a sold out crowd. Backed by DJ Skizz, he entertained with songs like “Free Turkey” and poked fun of the conspiracy theories that have been circulating online for months.

The concert brought out real rap fans, record label executives (including Shady Records' Paul Rosenberg), and even The Today Show's Tamron Hall. At one point, Droog stopped to play a friendly game of Cee-Lo with Sean Price and Queens duo Timeless Truth, who opened up the show alongside Boston's Michael Christmas.
