Last week, Kid Cudi announced that he was no longer on G.O.O.D. Music, and while he's discussed it in depth, he tells the LA Leakers about the conversation he had with Kanye West about his departure.
West's reaction was simple: "Do whatever you feels right, I don’t blame you. I feel you on that."
He goes on to discuss why he wasn't on more Cruel Summer tracks, the joint venture of G.O.O.D. Music, and his relationship with Kanye, saying:
[Kanye] gives me all these props and I don’t even know how to consume it all sometimes. It’s really overwhelming because I just think he’s so great. He just believes in me in such a freakish way that maybe he might not feel like he needs to be on a song with me or give me beats… It’s a cool thing to know that the Jedi Master—the Obi-Wan Kenobi—tells me, ‘You’re alright, you’re doing good.’
