Quietly, this year, so far at least, belongs to someone else. While Virginian rapper/singer/producer/skateboarder Pharrell Williams hasn't released solo music since 2006, he's been involved in nearly every major project this year—from Daft Punk's to Robin Thicke's.
Yesterday, Azealia Banks dropped the Pharrell-assisted "#ATMJam." After a year of waiting for her first full album, it's the first track that she's released that's really got us excited for her new music. That's not all because of Pharrell, but he's certainly playing a big hand in it, like he has with recent work from Miley Cyrus, Destiny's Child and more.
