Drake might be Canada's most famous artist, but even he couldn't top Taylor Swift in his home country.
Swift topped Spotify's most streamed artist in Canada list, with Drake coming in at number 2. Country star Morgan Wallen was number 3, while The Weeknd came through for Canada at number 4.
In Toronto and Montreal, Drake remained the number 1 most streamed artist. Swift was number 1 in Vancouver.
The year is coming to a close and 2024 is fast approaching, which means it's time for the annual Spotify Wrapped.
Drake spends a lot of time beefing with artists, but he's got a lot of professional respect for Swift, On For All The Dogs: Scary Hours Edition he pays homage to Taylor on his single "Red Buttons," saying: "Taylor the only n**** that I ever rated. Only one could make me drop my album a little later."
Swift is finally bringing her Eras Tour to Canada after shunning the country on the first couple of legs. She'll now be performing in Toronto at Rogers Centre Nov. 14-23 next year, and at BC Place in Vancouver from Dec. 6-8.
