It looks like Markus Schulz returned to take his crown back. Having won America's Best DJ honors in 2012, Markus didn't even place in the 2013 results (which Kaskade won), but finds himself beating out both Diplo (who hit second place for the second year in a row) and A-Trak to reclaim his power position. It makes sense; he has a huge following, and released the long-awaited Scream 2 back in February, so I'll just go ahead and assume that all of those Toolroom knights (is that what he calls his fans?) went ham on the voting. In any case, the closing party/award ceremony at Marquee in Las Vegas on October 12, where Schulz will be awarded the personalized, gold-plated Pioneer DJM-900nexus mixer.
