Earlier today, Baauer and Nick Hook conduced a dope Reddit AMA in support of the recent Red Bull documentary Searching For Sound, which found the two heading to the United Arab Emirates and Japan to find some interesting and original samples for Baauer's forthcoming album. They broke bread with the Reddit crew, and we got to learn a little bit about Baauer and Nick, including some info on forthcoming material from Baauer. Check out some of these tidbits that we learned about the producer/DJ.

Someone asked if Baauer had any collaborations with Skrillex or Jack U, and Nick Hook chimed in, saying that he "may or may not have been around for a baauer / skrillex/ asap ferg collab." We need to hear that, A$AP.
Baauer the bear
We're not sure if we see it based on his personality, but Baauer says if he could be any animal, he'd be a bear.
Baauer has an album in the works for LuckyMe
No word on when, what it's called, or what you can expect, but it looks like his album project will be on the label that's supported him since the beginning: LuckyMe.
Old Baauer has great advice for young Baauer
When asked about what advice he'd give his former self, Baauer dropped a gem: "never stop working and find out makes makes u u and stick to it."
Baauer thinks Nick Hook will have a breakout 2015
We actually picked up a lot of info on Nick Hook in this AMA; most importantly that he has about five tracks that he did with DJ Rashad (he was huge into the footwork movement, and is cool with a lot of the TEKLIFE crew). He definitely has a dope personality, has worked with everyone from El-P to L-Vis 1990, and should be on your radar.
