DJ Khaled may, once again, be suffering from too much success. Khaled is currently at Aventura Hosipital in North Miami Beach. Hopefully he's all cozied up in bed right now plotting on how this experience is going to be the greatest motivational push in his life. DJ Khaled may literally be sick of (the trappings of) success right now, but in his life, there's only one more door to walk through tomorrow: a door to more success. Best wishes to DJ Khaled.
It's worth noting that Khaled has actually been working to live a healthier life. In an interview with Vibe, a once-300 lb Khaled revealed that he was inspired by Fat Joe's recent weight loss. With his good friend as an example, Khale'd dropped around 65 lbs. His weight loss inspired how he titled his next album too:
That’s the reason I named my album I Changed...A Lot. I want to inspire people. When I inspire myself I want to spread the word because its important to be healthy. I don’t think they’re teaching us enough about that. I think we should eat better and exercise.
Khaled also mentioned that after his hospitalization last November for high blood pressure, he said to himself, “Let me change my eating, get in that gym and let me be focused." He's clearly made a huge improvement in his weight, but perhaps this latest visit will push him to take his improving health habits further.
