TMZ has obtained a video of Nipsey Hussle slapping someone believed to a BET Awards employee following a dispute over where he can park his car. The incident occurred in a nearby parking lot just outside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles where the ceremony is taking place.Ā
TMZ is reporting that the conflict started when the employee contested that Nipseyās crew couldnāt move a few cones to enter a restricted area. The situation escalated when the guy knocked a cone out of the hand of the rapperās bodyguard, and Nipsey quickly responded by slapping him across the face.
As the guy squares up for a potential fight, Nipsey is immediately restrained by an officer while another law enforcement official stepped in between his bodyguard and the employee.Ā
Despite initial reports that Nipsey was arrested as a result of the altercation, he ended up opening the show, performing with YG.
