Maxo announced Even God Has a Sense of Humor, the highly anticipated follow-up to his 2019 album Lil Big Man, will drop later this month.
Maxo tapped New York City-based artist John Ahearn to create the three casted sculptures displayed on the artwork for Even God Has a Sense of Humor, which will be released on his 28th birthday, Feb. 22. The California native provided a glimpse into the claustrophobia-inducing casting process, an experience that he saw as a metaphor about ego death.
“I had to go to a space where I was just not there,” he said in a press release.
To hold his fans over until the release of the album, Maxo dropped off the new song and Vincent Haycock-directed visual “Free!”
